Beginning Oct. 28, 2017, for just the third time in its 48-year  history, the Professional Protector Plan (PPP) will begin an exciting transition from the current underwriting carrier, CNA Insurance Company, to a new carrier, Aspen American Insurance Company (AAIC).  MDA Insurance, the exclusive state administrator for the PPP in Michigan since 1993, fully supports this change, which will broaden coverage, strengthen the program, and improve claim service. Your PPP renewal date and policy number will not change. Your policy will be automatically rewritten with AAIC when it renews according to its normal schedule. You do not need take any action.
