At the recent Professional Protector Plan (PPP) national meeting in St. Petersburg, FL, MDA Insurance was honored for writing the most new business in the nation for 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. MDA Insurance was recognized among a field of 52 PPP agencies including one from every state, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Winning this award four straight years is unprecedented in the 52-year history of the PPP program.
The national meeting is normally held every other year to allow insurance professionals the opportunity to explore emerging ideas in dental professional liability and to celebrate leaders within the PPP program itself. Due to COVID 19, however, the meeting had not been held in nearly four years. While MDA Insurance has received numerous accolades over the years for its administration of the PPP program, this year’s honors were exceptional even by our standards.
Special recognition for these awards goes to the entire PPP team at MDA Insurance. Tina Croley and Jennifer Goss, in particular, as they have worked tirelessly over many years in promoting the PPP program to Michigan dentists. Led by P&C director Jeff Spindler, the rest of the outstanding PPP team also includes Nathan Boisclair, Mike Mowatt, Jim Rosner, Aaron Simmons, Deb Fernandez, and Melanie Adler.
