If your practice participates in
the MDA Health Plan, please be
aware that changes in ownership
or the retirement of the group
sponsor need to be reported to
MDA Insurance immediately. If
the practice owner retires, the
group is dissolved, rendering
employees ineligible to
participate in the plan.
Employees would be eligible to
enroll in an individual health
plan. A new owner would have to
re-establish the group and
eligible employees could then
re-enroll in the new plan. Call
