Haven’t signed up for a 2019 health plan yet? There’s still time, and MDA Insurance has a plan right for you and your staff. The MDA Health Plan and group health plans can be started by employers at any time. However, keep in mind small group health plans require a 30-day lead time and become effective on the first day of the following month.
Those who are not members of a group health insurance plan will need to purchase an individual health plan in order to comply with the ACA’s individual mandate for health insurance. Remember, there is never a need to purchase individual health plans on the Marketplace.
