Long time MDA Insurance director of life and health operations, Ed Stafford, announced his retirement in December. His last day in the office will be Feb. 25. "All good things must come to an end and now is my time to say goodbye," said Stafford. "I’m starting a new phase of my life, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t say thank you to all the people I’ve worked with through the MDA and MDA Insurance. My eight years has truly been a pleasure and no one could ask for a better situation to cap their working life than serving Michigan’s outstanding dental professionals. Thanks again for the opportunity to serve, the camaraderie and the friendships. I wish you all the best."

Certainly we’ll miss Ed’s knowledge of the health insurance market, professional association experience, unique sense of humor and one-liners that caused many fits of laughter. We wish Ed a long, happy and healthy retirement. You’ve certainly earned it!
