By now, you’ve heard about all the improvements planned for the MDA Insurance professional liability program. Beginning with April renewal dates, your current PPP policy will be rebranded and renewed by AAIC as Dentist’s Choice. The best part is you don’t have to do a thing because we’ve got you covered! This will eliminate a national broker from the relationship and provide many exciting benefits for policyholders. Current policy holders will receive the same coverages, limits, and premiums. Below are a few more highlights:
• Significant rate increases were on the horizon with the PPP. Renewal
premiums with Dentist’s Choice will remain the same unless policy changes
have made by the insured.
• Policy forms, coverages, and limits on current policies will not change.
• MDA Insurance will continue to serve as your agent and contact.
• Lynda Farnen, JD, will continue assisting insured dentists on legal matters.
• The $50 annual risk management fee charged on all PPP policies will be
eliminated, but online and classroom risk management courses will still be offered, along with discounts for completion. Working directly with the insurance company (AAIC) will increase the efficiency of the program, allowing for a better client experience, more technology innovation, and a number of upcoming policy enhancements.
