While many MDA members
have term life insurance that
offers coverage for a set period
of time, adding whole life
insurance is an important step
in establishing financial
security for those you love.
Whole life insurance remains
in place after retirement and
provides coverage until the
age of 95, when the policy
endows. Your rate and plan design will stay the same even after you retire,
and you can take it with you!
MDA members and their staffs are now eligible to purchase a guaranteed
issue whole life policy through MDA Insurance. Policies include a
catastrophic loss rider of $2,000 per month for up to 12 months.
Whole life insurance policies are also available for staff, spouses,
dependent children and grandchildren. Adding life insurance options to
your employee benefit mix can help with retaining and recruiting qualified
staff. Forty-six percent of American adults have no life insurance.
Allowing staff to purchase whole life insurance can be an attractive
incentive to join or stay with your practice.
