Health insurance seminars slated for late summer/fall; earn free CE credits

While the nation holds its breath for the U.S. Supreme Court decision on the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act, which is expected yet this session, insurance companies and the MDA Health Plan Board of Trustees keep planning for 2022. There is a lot of uncertainty about what health insurance will look like under a new administration, as the COVID-19 pandemic wears on.

Three-hour seminar “Health Insurance in the New Administration.” You can count on MDA Insurance to share the latest information during its series of three-hour health insurance seminars that begin in September and conclude in late October. Get the answers you need, stay up to date on the latest health insurance developments, and earn three free CE credits. The seminar will also provide updates on the MDA Health Plan, and the individual and small group plans by commercial carriers such as Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. This seminar is appropriate for doctors as well as the entire dental team, whether you’re in the MDA Health Plan, in an individual or small group plan, or are contemplating the right choice for you.

Issues pertaining to Medicare will not be discussed during the presentation. For Medicare seminars, see mdaprograms.com.

We are planning on live presentations, but we may have to resort to a webinar if pandemic conditions persist into the fall. One-hour seminar: “2021: Health Plan Updates You Need to Know” If you receive your health care benefits from the MDA Health Plan, we have a special opportunity for you to get the updates you need for 2022. These topics will be addressed:
• Open enrollment dates, and what you can change.
• Plan updates: Any changes you need to know about.
• Government-mandated updates like deductibles and out-of-pocket limits.
• How and when to provide the plan with updated information.
• Essential submissions and deadlines for subscribers and plan sponsors.

Give us one hour and earn one free CE, and be sure you’re all set for the 2022 plan year! We are hoping for live presentations, but may deliver content virtually depending on the pandemic status. All times are 6-8 p.m. You must be registered to attend.
