Individuals can still enroll in health insurance for 2021 at the online marketplace, healthcare.gov, but the current open enrollment period is expected to end on Aug. 15. Call MDA Insurance for assistance with obtaining health insurance yet this year. In response to pandemic conditions, President Joe Biden may again extend the open enrollment period. Traditionally, the period from Nov. 1 to Dec. 15 is the only time people can enroll in a health insurance plan for the following year.

Open enrollment for the MDA Health Plan begins Oct. 1 and concludes Nov. 15. This is when plan participants can select a different plan option, or enroll in coverage for 2022 if they are not currently participating.
