The 2021 MDA Insurance health care seminars offer options to best suit your needs. Choose between a three-hour/3 CE presentation or opt for the one-hour/1 CE overview of changes to the MDA Health Plan. Brief descriptions of both courses are below. Presentations are slated to be live, but may be held via Zoom or pre-recorded for on-demand viewing as the pandemic dictates.

1. Health Insurance in the New Administration. 3 CE credits.
Reduce your uncertainty about how health care is being delivered during the Biden Administration and how COVID-19 may affect insurance by attending the three-hour program. This is a deep dive into the state of health insurance for the 2022 plan year and attendees will earn 3 CEs for participating. The seminar will also provide updates on the MDA Health Plan, the individual and small group plans by commercial carriers such as Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. This seminar is appropriate for everyone in the dental practice. Please note, Medicare will not be discussed. This program will be presented in five locations around the state. 2. 2022 MDA Health Plan Updates You Need to Know. 1 CE credit.
Already a member or sponsor of the MDA Health Plan? This seminar gives you a quick overview of key MDA Health Plan information, such as open enrollment dates and what you can change; plan updates; any government-mandated changes to deductibles and out-of-pocket limits; and essential deadlines and submissions for the 2022 plan year.
