For the 2020 MDA Insurance health care seminars, we have developed two format options to best suit your needs. Choose between a three-hour/3 CE deep-dive seminar format or a one-hour/1 CE quick overview of key information. Note that due to government guidelines relative to COVID-19, these seminars may be held via Zoom or pre-recorded. Here are the options:

1. Health Insurance in the Roaring ‘20s: What’s New, What’s Next? 3 CE credits. Presented by MDA Insurance; Fee: FREE Class dates, times and locations listed below. Consumers are still really confused about health insurance. Is it still mandated? Is there a fine for not having it? What do you need to know about how your health insurance and auto insurance interact in the face of No-Fault reform? How will the presidential election affect your health care? Get the answers you need, and stay up to date on the latest health insurance developments, by attending our three hour, deep dive into the state of health insurance for 2021. The seminar will also provide updates on the MDA Health Plan and individual and small group plans by commercial carriers such as Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. This seminar is appropriate for doctors as well as the entire dental team, whether you’re in the MDA Health Plan, in an individual or small group plan, or are contemplating the right choice for you. 2. 2021: Health Plan Updates You Need to Know. 1 CE credit. Presented by MDA Insurance; Fee: FREE Class dates, times and locations listed below. Already an MDA Health Plan member or
sponsor, or interested in becoming one? This seminar is designed to give you a quick overview of key information:
• Open enrollment dates and what you can change.
• Plan updates.
• Government-mandated updates
(deductible, out-of-pocket limits).
• How and when to make updates.
• Essential submissions and deadlines.Give us an hour, earn 1 CE for free, and be sure you’re all set for the 2021 plan year! Space is limited at these seminars! You must be registered to attend. Registration begins at 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. seminar; 7:30-8 p.m. questions. Light snacks will be provided.
