You won’t find a plan like this anywhere else. The plan is budget-friendly, with flat prescription costs and low copays. You’ll love the added amenities such as health assessments, family-focused activity rewards, and even parental support to help reinforce positive habits and healthy living for kids. There are two Family Focus plans (HSA and PPO) available to best fit your needs. Sign up for a Family Focus plan during open enrollment, which begins Oct. 1 and concludes Nov. 15 for benefits effective Jan. 1, 2020. The open enrollment period is the only time you can change your plan, the number of hours employees must work to be eligible for the plan, the waiting period to join the plan, how much you contribute to the plan and when employees are terminated from the plan after they leave your employment. MDA members who are employers can establish an MDA Health Plan for their group at any time and your employees can join during the initial enrollment period or if they have a subsequent qualifying event.
