At a time when insurance plans seem to rule the dentist-patient treatment relationship, there is a way to have more autonomy and empower the patients to determine how much dentistry they can afford. Establishing an in-office dental plan helps patients obtain the care they want and need and rebuilds the bond between dentist and patient. An IOP is like a membership plan for your patients. Essentially, your patient subscribes to a service plan that you devise and price, and pay a recurring monthly fee directly to you.
