Member Vision Cards

VSP now offers enhanced Member Vision Cards as a solution for your employees who prefer to carry a vision insurance card.

This print-on-demand card is available through the VSP member site (requires member login to view) on vsp.com. It’s designed to reduce the vision benefit questions you receive from employees and contains personalized information, including:

  • member name;
  • coverage type (i.e., Member Only, Family, etc.);
  • client ID number;
  • doctor network name; and
  • copays.

Because it is personalized, the card cannot be printed en masse for all your employees. Cards must be generated and printed one at a time. Protected Health Information, like member ID number and date of birth, is not included on the insurance card. VSP is committed to protecting the privacy and security of our members and their data. Including PHI can put members at risk of identity theft if the printed card is lost or stolen.

This enhanced card is a convenience for members and is not required for service. As always, full benefit information is available through the vsp.com.
